SOME AMAZING THINGS
in our lives & yours
The two of us have had many adventures in our short lives, but none has compared to our adventure of marriage!
Besides working with our amazing couples, we also love our hometown of Greenville, SC, educating other photographers, and finding new adventures!

We hear things like this said all the time, “He knows what we need before we even know what to ask!” But rarely do I trust that this is true. In the Spring as our calendar was coming together, we looked ahead & saw that we had 10 weekends in a row of shooting weddings […]
Part 2 of our blog is full of our adventures: What we saw, what our favorite places were, & what it was like when France won the World Cup. We had no idea any of these stories were in store for us when we packed our bags which makes it all the sweeter to share with you!
How was it after France won the World Cup? This was a total cherry-on-top experience for us! A definite once in a lifetime experience! The week before we left, it dawned on us – we MIGHT be in France when they play, if they go all the way. Could they really? Once they made the finals, we were pumped!
We asked you all what you wanted to know about our trip to France & quite honestly, your questions surprised us! Y’all are just the best! To answer all your fabulous questions, we have broken our blog into two parts. First, the nuts & bolts of traveling as a family; specifically with a 6 month old baby. Second, all of our marvelous adventures!
First, we couldn’t have made this trip without our dear friends, Thomas & Jenn. Last year when we casually mentioned that we would be going to Boston with a newborn they quickly chimned in & said, “Sounds so fun! Can we help?”
And HELP they did!
‘I think I can feel wet seeping through the zipper in this vest. Yup, that’s water. Now I’m wet all the way through. Crap, here comes another gust and downpour. Head down! Glad I wore this cap to keep the rain out of my eyes! Alright, fall in behind a group to get some wind blockage and save energy.’
6:30 AM: It had been raining without a break since about 4 AM. The temperature was in the high 30s, and the wind was gusting over 30 mph. I stood in a line 60 people deep at Boston Commons for a double line of school buses parked along the entire block.
Everyone loves a good snow day! They’re so magical! All bets are off & you’re suddenly snuggled in with friends & family. For us, the snow has an extra touch of magic to it. It seems that some of our most meaningful memories have happened in snow storms:
