Some couples carry with them an exuberance & energy that can’t help but spread. As soon as we met Taylor & Kyle for the first time last fall, we knew that their wedding day was going to be something special. In the age of COVID-19, they navigated a mid-engagement venue change with graceful footwork, making way for one of the most electric celebrations we’ve gotten to be a part of.

No detail was overlooked. At Westfield Greenville, lush, fragrant flower arrangements were skillfully spun & suspended in the air.  Tall, dramatic candles & single-stemmed peonies framed every vignette. Delicate, hand-dyed ribbons flowed beneath Taylor’s bouquet of pink lemonade-colored roses & dahlias, spilling with whimsical tendrils & vines.  An intricate diamond clip held her hair back on one side, & she wore her late grandmother’s diamond bracelet. The only thing more radiant was Taylor herself, as she grinned ear to ear in an elegant off-the-shoulder dress. Though admittedly less sparkly, across the venue, Kyle & his groomsmen were sleek & timeless. Eager for the day’s celebration, they cheers’ed to the nearly-wed bride & groom.

These two could not wait to see each other before the ceremony. And we do mean this literally. At their first look, Kyle stood with his back turned, awaiting his bride’s tap on the shoulder. Before she began walking over, he turned around, running across the room in tears to embrace his bride!

Their ceremony & reception were filled to the brim with joy & celebration. The minister’s declaration of “You may now kiss the Bride!” quickly transformed the room into a huge party! Guests were invited to be fancy-free with His & Hers cocktails (Old Fashioneds & margaritas, respectively) & baskets of flip-flops beside the dance floor. Taylor’s mom surprised the couple with a funfetti-filled cake layer, & all their guests ended the fun night dancing & scream-singing “Mr. Brightside” by the Killers.

Friends, it was such an honor to stand witness to the beginning of your marriage & the establishment of your legacy together. Thank you for letting us play a part in your unforgettable day!  We LOVE you both!  This is just the beginning friends – & what a BEAUTIFUL beginning it was! Love, JP & Ryland
