Gabrielle will always be special to us Rainsfords, as she was the labor & delivery nurse that helped us bring both of our babies into the world! She has cared for us & witnessed some of the most special moments in our lives as a family. When we learned that we would have the honor of photographing the start of her new life together with Lee, we knew it was meant to be.
Both Clemson graduates, Lee & Gabrielle met at the 2019 NCAA Football National Championship in California where they were introduced by a mutual friend. They immediately clicked! They sat together the entire game, celebrated an incredible Clemson victory over Alabama, then spent the rest of the trip touring around San Francisco together. And as they say — the rest was history!!
Brought together by their loyalty to Clemson football & their love for the Lord, Gabrielle & Lee married this August at the Bleckley Station in Anderson. Their bridal party donned fluttering cornflower blue dresses & gray suits. Gabrielle’s dress was designed by her mom & her sister, & included a gorgeous combination of lace & satin, as well as a halter neckline.
Lee saw his bride for the first time as she walked down the aisle with her daddy– their smiles huge, like window shutters thrown recklessly open on the first day of spring. Gabrielle’s dad officiated the ceremony, where the gospel was shared so beautifully & explicitly. Rarely have we seen the gospel so prominent in every aspect of a wedding — in their welcome, the program, homily, their vows, & even prayers before dinner. It was a blessing to witness!
At their reception, they honored their alma mater– while remembering their first unofficial date– by having their guests sign a giant photo of the 2019 National Championship Team. Go Tigers!!
Gabrielle & Lee, you have already been such a blessing in our lives, but thank you for the additional honor & blessing of being witnesses to your marriage! You have set your marriage on a firm foundation & we are confident that the Lord will use you for even greater things together! We love you friends! Love, The Rainsfords
