The day of Hannah & Caleb’s wedding, Arran Farms was decorated with every marking of fall, with the grounds swathed in bright, crisp October sunshine!! Hannah, too, beamed. Pumpkins, gourds, & chrysanthemums dotted every corner…
The bridal suite was filled with the excited chatter of bridesmaids anticipating their girl getting married, as well as every type of hair product & pin you could imagine. Hannah’s hair was swept up into an effortless braided updo, & her mom helped her get into her wedding dress. As she buttoned the final button, Hannah glimpsed herself in the mirror– a bride!– & cried tears of joy!
Each moment of the day Hannah & Caleb took slowly, soaking it all in. Before the ceremony, with their backs pressed against either side of the farm’s heavy chapel door, Hannah & Caleb read heartfelt words to one another. After they read their letters, they stepped from behind the door into the chapel, & embraced for the first time that day.
Their ceremony overflowed with worship, & was a time of declaring the Lord’s steadfast love not only to one another, but also to their guests. After Hannah & Caleb said their vows, they invited everyone to join them in singing “Great is Thy Faithfulness.” As the congregation sang along, Hannah’s voice rose above the rest. On the final verse, she raised her arms in worship, & the joy of the Lord was so palpable. After the singing ended, Hannah & Caleb were declared husband & wife!
They kicked off the start of their newest adventure with a reception filled with every good thing about fall in the South: BBQ, homemade pies, banana pudding, & a bluegrass band! Parents sang, the kids danced, & it brought us so much joy to watch their families celebrate what God had done.
Hannah & Caleb – what a JOY to worship with you on your wedding day as you celebrated all that Christ has done in your lives. Watching you two enjoy every part of your wedding day is something we will never forget. We are so thankful we were first hand witnesses to your vows & love! All our love, The Rainsfords
