To know Julie & Kyle is to love them! The first time I spoke with Julie over the phone, we laughed & laughed. She was teaching in Colorado, & dreaming of the day she’d marry Kyle. Months later, & just days before the wedding, Kyle was returning from a trip to Swaziland where he’d helped perform eye surgeries as part of his final year of ophthalmology school. He & Julie both have such big hearts for the Lord and for serving others! They will be settling into our favorite city of Greenville, SC as they await their new placement in March. We can hardly think of a better place to start a new adventure!

Julie & Kyle’s spirited, adventure-loving personalities were incorporated into every detail of their wedding day. In lieu of bridesmaid robes, the girls wore TOPO design t-shirts while they got ready for the day. Instead of dresses, the girls wore jumpsuits! Julie also changed into her own white jumpsuit half way through the reception. Each table number at the reception was marked by a different American mountain & their guest book was a gorgeous book of national parks, where guests could sign next to their favorite destination. Guests took home miniature bags of trail mix (homemade by Julie’s mama) & coffee beans roasted all the way in Colorado – um YUMMM! And to top off their day – Julie & Kyle rode off on their bikes as their friends & family cheered!

Julie & Kyle – what a joy to know you both! As we watched your families surround you in this time of transition & support you on your wedding day, we were filled with encouragement & joy! As you both settle in Greenville for a short time & prepare for your next adventure, we pray that the Lord would be your stronghold & foundation. Look to Him who pours out His love to us so that we can pour out to one another! We are SO thankful for the gift of being your wedding photographers & capturing the FIRST day of your married lives!
