Every wedding is special – but this one holds a significant place in our hearts! When we were first married, we lived in downtown Atlanta & were a part of West Side Presbyterian Church. Both of us were involved in a weekly small group & loved our community!

Meredith was in JP’s small group all those years ago & through emails & texting, we kept in touch. Last April, Meredith called to ask if she & her new boyfriend, Dan, could use our home as “base” in Greenville for one of their dates! Dan was living in Raleigh & Meredith was still in Atlanta. Their dates were spent trying to meet in the middle & Greenville was the perfect city. We joined Dan & Meredith for wine & chocolate one Saturday evening after we finished photographing a wedding. JP called it, “They love each other so much & both are on Cloud 9! I think they will get married next year!”

A few months later, Dan popped the question & they were married the following spring at Meredith’s home church! Knowing Meredith & her story made this wedding super special to us but the cherry on top was that this was the first wedding we photographed after having our baby. Kerr was JUST 6 weeks old & again, through the Lord’s grace – some of our dear friends kept Kerr at their home just 25 minutes away from the church. It was the first time we said “goodbye” to Kerr & “Hello, 2018 weddings!” What a special memory of the Lord’s provision & grace in our lives!

A Note From The Bride & Groom: Our favorite part of working with JP and Ryland was their thoughtful, easy going, and calming personalities. We were very intentional about cherishing every moment of our wedding day and not letting the whirlwind of the day take away from being present. JP and Ryland helped us do just that! Their attention to detail was something we appreciated from the months prior to the wedding all the way through to the end of our wedding day! Because of the planning they did, the day-of went so smoothly. With their easy going and encouraging hearts, they guided us through the day and kept us on time for everything. We are so grateful for the beautiful way the Rainsfords documented our day. We felt so cared for by JP and Ryland, and they truly captured our wedding day so accurately!
