Today we are throwing it back to one of our favorite 2017 summer weddings! Patrick & Ellen were married in right in the heart of Savannah, Georgia at St. John’s Cathedral. Surrounded by the hundreds of historical sights, Savannah made the perfect backdrop for the Ebberwein’s elegant wedding day. 

Ellen & her girls got ready at the historic Mirabelle Suites directly across from St. John’s Cathedral. This historic home was renovated in the old world European style, marrying class and charm. The elegant and spacious rooms offered the perfect place for Ellen & her bridesmaids to get ready & relax. Once all was ready, we walked Ellen across the street to St. John’s Cathedral where she saw Patrick for the first time, exchanged gifts, & shared their last moments before the ceremony.

Our favorite part about Patrick & Ellen’s wedding day? It’s actually not any particular moment, but the cumulative joy, emotion, and love which these two had with & for each other, their families, & their friends. We didn’t mention it before, but these two have been close friends for well over a decade. Their wedding day was the sweetest climax of this friendship! Their joy was palpable! 

Patrick & Ellen, we will always look back on your wedding & remember how much you loved your friends & family, your guests, & most of all – one another. It was a joy & honor to stand by your side & capture your beautiful day! We love you both!

A note from the Bride:My favorite part about working with Rainsford Photography was how encouraging & calming JP & Ryland were the day of. They are very easy going & eager to please everyone. They gently guided photos & easily kept everyone on task. During pictures I noticed my dress wrinkled very easily! This was something I really didn’t expect. I honestly don’t know if I would have been able to enjoy my wedding as much if it weren’t for JP’s kind words & calming presence. My other favorite part about working with Rainsford Photography was (of course) the quality of photos. Both my husband & I are extremely happy with the photos.
